Terms of use
Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms cover the PBI (programmable bonded infrastructure) website, its API, its MCP server, its SDK and its x402 endpoints (together, the site), and the smart contracts they read and write. By using them you accept these terms.
What PBI is
PBI is software that enforces performance bonds between service operators and backers by code, using measurements that can be wrong. It is not insurance, not a guarantee of any service, and not an offer of securities. Nothing on the site is investment, legal or tax advice.
The contracts
Bonds, backing, settlement and compensation happen in smart contracts on Robinhood Chain. Transactions are final. The contracts are experimental and unaudited, and capital in them can be lost. A slash follows the published formula from the aggregates posted onchain; nobody reviews a breach by hand and there is no appeal. Compensation is limited to the rules and to the capital in a bond. $PBI put in a $PBI leg can be burned when the backed service breaks its promise.
Measurements
Services are probed by the prober described in the docs. Probes can fail for reasons outside a service, and the outage rule and the published records exist to bound that, not to remove it. You decide whether to rely on a record.
Watched services
Third-party services are listed from their public endpoints, probed lightly and read-only, without affiliation or endorsement. Their names and marks are used only to identify them next to their measured record. Any operator can claim its service or ask for it to be removed, through the X account.
Go mode
A passkey account is controlled by the passkey on your device. PBI pays the gas for the transactions it signs, up to daily limits, and may stop doing so at any time; the account keeps working with any wallet that can submit its signed calls. Losing the passkey means losing access to the account. Backing in Go mode opens in waves from a waitlist.
Paid endpoints
Payments over x402 are in USDG and are settled onchain before the answer is served. They are not refundable, except through compensation when a bonded service breaks its promise.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to probe systems you are not allowed to probe, to overload any service, or to break the law. Paid watches are refused for private or non-HTTPS addresses.
No warranty, limited liability
The site and the contracts are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, the people who run PBI are not liable for losses from using them, including losses from slashes, failed transactions, wrong measurements or downtime.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Contract parameters change only through the 48-hour timelock shown on the protocol page.
